Bring this hot spinach and artichoke dip to your next football party, no one will know it's light! Football season is here! I usually like to make my Skinny Buffalo Wings, along with one of my many meatball recipes such as Swedish Meatballs, Southwest Turkey Meatballs, or Asian Turkey Meatballs.
Back in 2010, during the early years of Handle the Heat, I posted a recipe for light loaded potato soup that became one of my most popular recipes to date. I've since changed the recipe up slightly to streamline the soup making process and I wanted to share it with you in the form of a video!

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, try this fresh and healthy salsa recipe with tomatoes, peppers and onions goes great with chips, grilled fish, chicken and in tacos. This salsa is low in calories and fat. You can adjust the heat and any ingredients to suit your taste.
Easter means that soon, you will have an overabundance of boiled eggs. Once you peel off the pretty shells, you'll be left with plain white eggs to make into deviled eggs or egg salad. Instead of the boring route this year, make the edible eggs just as pretty as their outer shells!
With Superbowl around the corner, these lightened up Jalapeño Poppers will make the perfect party appetizer. Jalapeño peppers stuffed with cheese, coated with seasoned panko, then baked not fried. You won't miss the full fat version! This was another recipe request from one of my wonderful readers! You guys rock.
Place Canadian Havarti cheese cubes on a plate and freeze for 2 hours. Preheat barbecue to medium. Wrap each cheese cube with two pieces of bacon as tightly as possible, completely covering cheese. Skewer 4 cubes of Canadian Havarti cheese to each brochette and barbecue 7 to 8 minutes, or until bacon is crisp and cheese starts to melt, turning over a few times.
Bean dip recipes are a favorite among partygoers, especially football fans. At least the ones that I know! In case you're wondering, con queso means "with cheese", hence the name Con Queso Bean Dip. This dip is thickened by refried beans and flavored with salsa and cheese sauce.
